WAPC Spring Conference and Video Festival 2009

May 1-2, 2009
Country Springs Hotel
2810 Golf Road
Waukesha, WI

This year's Spring Conference consisted of station visits (West Allis and Menomonee Falls), exciting speakers, interesting workshops, and FUN!

Congratulations to all those who won awards for their programs, programming or significant other achievements.

At the banquet we honored three "Friends of Access" award winners: Anita Gallucci, Prof. Barry Orton, and Joe Van Eaton. It's been a tricky time for public access and these three friends have helped steer us through rough waters. We also celebrated one of our own, Hall of Fame Award winner Judi Kneece!

Many thanks to Pam Steitz, Conference Chair and her staff at Sun Prairie Cable Access and those on the board who helped find speakers: Mary Shanahan-Spanic, Alan Luckett (also our vendor chair), and Tom Soik.
